A couple hints 

1. I never said it was Street View

2. Correct identification of the species will really narrow down the probable location.

Yeah no kidding.

I obviously can't distinguish sabals in my home state. I'm going to have to check those out sometime.

I love the light colored trunks and open canopy. It's not holding much of a skirt either

If the image is "courtesy of Google Earth" , but it is not Street View, then what exactly is it? Does Google Earth provide other imagery with their logo watermarked on it?

Oh, is this from the new Google Earth they recently launched?

The photo is one of their 360 photos, you click on it and can pan around to see all around it. In the layers menu, click on gallery, check the 360Cities box and they will show up on the map.
