Macrozamia Communis and Johnsonii

I have one of each planted beneath a grove on Butia Catarensis. The butia experienced 50-60% burn this winter when we dropped down to 13.6 here at the house with 30+ consecutive hours below freezing. While both Macrozamia completely burned the Johnsonii faired much better as it came out with new green foliage a full month before the communis.  However they are both alive and well today.
