I've obtained a double seeding with this mule palm seed but one of them look like it's developing two different plumules. What do you think?

Another Butia Syagrus hybrid Pollen clarification
I just need some clarification on a couple things.
I have had a flower happy mule with inflorences several years now, however being a "sterile" mule (Butia x Syagrus) I always prune them before the pollen gets all over the driveway. This spring I didn't get around to it. But I did note that some fruit did set and started to swell. But again being a mule, I decided the seeds would not be viable, so I pruned it off.
Now today I looked up at one of my queens that flowered at about the same time and it has seeds about the same growth stage as the Mules was. It was assisted by pollinating bees.
My question is. Could the mule cross with the queen or vise versa.
Could I have a random Sx(Bxs)
and had I not removed the frond of the mule, the seed that did set being (bxs)xs?
In the future can I save the pollen of the mule and hand pollenate other butia and Syagrus etc..
Second question: I have a hybrid that more closely resembles a Syagrusxbutia. Are they self fertile?
I collected a few hybrids that came out of nursery stock supplied mostly from Florida and California that I noticed were hybrids of unknown origin.
