So i bought a chamaerops vulcano 3 weeks ago repotted it into ultra draining soil and pot with holes,since i watered it with 5 liters of water the rain came next day and hasnt stopped since and my once dark green leaves are turning yellow?is the watering and rain together causing root rot or somthing,should i cover the palm from the rain so it can dry out?i havent fed the palm anything as enought nutrients in the soil.please help

Might be transplant shock. Do you have somewhere undercover you can move it until the rain stops? Pics?

no place to put it  at all and if i did i wouldnt be able to lift it lol, i was thinking of placing a cover over it until rain stops but i dont know if thats a good or bad idea,after i repotted a few weeks back i been using palmbooster a growth hormone to try prevent transplant shock thats all.i will take a pic of the leaves when the rain eases off

ok i temporary covered it in refuse sacks as got nothing else,but here is the pic,those leaf tips were green before
