Who got seeds and grow seedlings of this species? Is it a difficult germination?

I just can say that I ordered seeds, thanks to Pando who informed me about the seeds list of RPS.
The other question is: who got seeds , who is growing seedlings?

Let us know how yours is doing Philippe, I don't think I've ever seen a picture of one outside the habitat. I didn't order, probably have no chance in keeping it alive here anyway.

Actually I ordered in May but it seems I will NOT get the seeds from RPS. I have had such a great hope; I am sad.

Why? Did they cancel? I have heard RPS can take some time to ship or even confirm the order, so I hope they will arrive for you...

I think they cancelled since they charged my card only for the other species I had on the order.
I hope next year they'll put the species on the list again or Jeff Marcus will have seedlings.
I would like to see this palm before I die.

I must apologize, I have been too much worrying impatiently, I just got the parcel with today's post.
Now I have to act seriously:

Who is sharing the same situation, at the start of a wonderful experience?

I must have missed seeing these on the RPS list. Looks like a very interesting palm to grow.

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

I bought 4 seeds from RPS but received 19, it was a mistake? they were supposed to be fresh. When I checked them 6 seeds were rotten and when I opened them they were full of tiny white worms. I left them 1 month germinating and found that 3 seeds had germinated with some worms that I ended up taking them out. The following week I checked and there were only 2 germinated seeds with a reduced root full of worms again, is there any way to prevent those white worms with black heads from coming out?

I just noticed these on RPS today.  They are quite pricey to get a large enough quantity of seeds to make the effort worthwhile, imo.

If they were a super cool palm I would jump on it but I work at a place that has a few in ground and they are nice but not worth the price

Yes, worms! At least one of mine has white worms, so worms certainly seem to be a thing with this species. They were very small and moved out of shot before I could take a photo; probably beetle or fly larvae rather than worms sensu stricto. The black head makes me think beetle. They seem to be devouring the seeds from the inside. I have two seeds left that seem to have the embryo still intact; anyone have any idea how I can kill the larvae but not the embryo?
