And 99% of collectors never have seen or maybe even heard of this species. You can see the excitement in Tim's above comment.....because he knows this species. Seed came around well over 10 years ago out of PNG one time. There's two forms. This is a great species to cherish. Nice to see another specimen in cultivation.

Fairchild has one in their greenhouse. It's about as large as Bill's. Wonder how easy it is to grow...

I forgot to mention earlier, there's actually a specimen growing in a front yard down in Miami belonging to a private collector. He bought it from me well over 10 years ago and is now approx. 7-8' tall. And that was a good 3 years ago. I almost fainted when I saw it along with Ryan (Palmarum). It was truly one of the most shocking, in awe palm finds of my career!

What a beauty..one of my favourite Licualas! 

Saw seedlings years ago and kick myself for not buying at the time...they weren't cheap though!

Gold Coast, Queensland Latitude 28S. Mild, Humid Subtropical climate. Rainfall - not consistent enough!
