It is always great to walk among the Bangalow palms in the local rainforest...our local Palm Society went there last weekend. Nice and close to home - only 20 minutes from the new place.

Here's a few photos of the palms in habitat...A.cunninghamiana is the dominant palm, and there are many clumps of Calamus muelleri as well. The other local palm on the mountain is only found occasionally... Linospadix monostachyos.

Hi Tim, yes, same mountain area, but different forest. This is called Witches Falls...about 5 kms from Palm Grove
