Palm Discoloration Issues

Anyone know what could be leading to the leaf discoloration on these palms? They got a little bit of PalmGain about a month ago, and receive regular waterings. Unfortunately, other small palms in my yard are beginning to show the same symptoms. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cut those dead leaves off and give them some iron or any general fertilizer every few weeks

and I think that they will look better in no time. You are coming onto summer soon.

If all of your young plants are the same it would indicate to me that it is either a soil or environmental problem.

You could also pull out those little weeds repot into premium potting mix,

and move to another part of your garden more specific for those palms.

Protection from wind,shade sun whatever?

Cheers Steve

It is not dead, it is just senescence.

Thanks guys! I will definitely start with the iron. I'll also continue experimenting with controlling the amount of direct sunlight these palms see. I also wouldn't doubt that the potting mix is sub-par; that one is a continual work in progress.
