Oh yeah.:wub::yay:

I used to have one of these in my Perth garden, but my tenant decided to turn the bore water off because he thought it was wasting "his" water. Anyway I come back one month to see a dried shell of a plant. It was going great too.

A friend of mine had a big one getting taller than his fence, but he moved house and the idiot new owner took too it with a chainsaw, even though he said to the new owner that if you don't want any of the plants he'd come and remove them for him.:angry::( People people people.

Beautiful Carpoxylon BTW.

This palm has proven to be very difficult for me, probably killed 5, one in the garden is looking decent but growing so slow. Yours looks great.

Congratulations!  That is a well grown, very sweet Carpoxylon, quite an accomplishment in California!

Looking great! Getting close to revealing that beautiful green crown shaft too.

You're going to enjoy this palm even more as time goes on. Best to Jen.

Fantastic. Really good to see. Well done. Hope mine do that. I am growing them up in a heated glasshouse until they are about the size of yours then trying it outside.

So Matt, how long has this palm been in the ground and how tall was it when planted? It looks real good.

Nice work Matt!

I planted three of these several years ago, and two of them died fairly quickly. The third is still alive and looks decent, but it's only about 2 or 3 feet tall and growing in slow motion. You're clearly doing much better than I have!
