Thanks but they are most likely not C.tanga as I have never had seeds of these.

Probably not a Fijian species.

They look stretched a bit, therefore giving them an unique look. They resemble an Areca species.

They do look like C.elatior but the leaf top  edges are different.

Also look somewhat like C. ernesti-augusti but they are longer leaves and not as broad.

Still a mystery.

thanks all for the sugestions.

still would like to ID this.

sure are similarities to the suggestions but none are this species.

now i have planted a  few but just took the chance that they will  suit the site.

any other ideas would be appreciated
