Nannorrhops ritchiana in Wichita

I'm pleased to say this Nannorrhops ritchiana growing in downtown Wichita is still alive! I've been checking up on it all winter, and I was almost certain it was dead. I took a close look today, it is pushing out new growth! Check it out! Planted in a bed a few feet from a plate glass window, but no protection other than the building.

I believe we dipped to -7F at the airport on December 18, so probably somewhere around -3F to -4F downtown...luckily it was brief and dry that night!

Just logged in for the first time in a while, so I apologize for the delay! I was able to drive downtown and take some pictures of it yesterday, it is doing quite well!
