When do Coconuts get pinnate leaves?

I germinated my  coconut in august and the leaves are aound 10-12 inches tall right now.   when should I expect pinnate leaves.  Ive seen some coconuts that were only 2 ft tall and had started to get pinnate leaves

Lower leaflets are starting to separate probably around 3rd or 4th leaf, getting progressively more pinnate with every new leaf.

Exposure to sun or protection in shade will hasten or delay the process somewhat.  I know of an indoor coconut with eastern exposure on its 5th or 6th leaf, and it's barely started to split the leaves at all.  Outside in more sun, the leaves would probably be more divided at this stage. And the palm would be shorter.
