Any one growing Ludovia lancifolia?

Looks a little like a ruffled Travelers Palm. Wondering how big it will get in my garden outside of Hilo. Found a two foot specimen at the local Home Depot.

Its a Cyclanthaceae and an ultratropical. I had several a few years ago and planted one outside to test. It got severe foliage burn in the low 40sF and never recovered. It didn't go below 35F. The other 2 I kept in an unheated greenhouse and they were ratty looking by spring and never recovered.

I've had one for several years but it doesn't like the low humidity of the dry season. It's the most touchy of my Cyclanthaceae in that respect. It'll do well in year round high humidity.
