My elderly kitty, Great Great Grandma, is semi-retired, and she has come to really appreciate some extra heat.

Here she is atop some greenhouses in my bathroom which are heated to 80 F 27 C 24/7.I gave her a little towel, but she seems to like it better right on the plastic.

Do your cats/dogs/other critters like your heated germination devices?

Wherever there is a heat radiator and a pet around, then seedlings and pets make company toeach other.

But I was under the impression that it is always 'safe and warm' in LA and an artificial heater is superfluous.

My pets get too close for comfort! My two parrots are flying klutzes. They often land in my palms, and grab a frond with their beak, for balance :rant: Imagine my frustration when one landed on my J. altifrons! :rage:

Haha too cute! I don't have any germination device but my kitty loves to sleep on the radiator in winter :D
