Do you use an iOS or an Android smartphone? Right now I use the iPhone 6 but this summer I may switch to the Samsung Galaxy s8 when it comes out.

What do you use?

Android for both. Personally I just can't see giving all that money for an Apple product. I have a $100 dollar Android and it's just fine. My work phone is a Galaxy S7 and it's fine too, but I don't need a super high end performance phone so I probably don't notice the difference in the S7 vs my ZMax. I like having options vs, "Sir, would you like an iPhone 7, 6 or 5? Or perhaps an iPad? Would you like an iPod to go with that? (and for big bucks)" I guess I find the Apple exclusivity annoyoing but that's getting off topic.

Software-wise I'm just not in love with the way apple works, though I will admit that they are similar. My wife has an iPad and has always had Macs and I guess I'm just not a Mac guy (I HATE that damn pinwheel). I like my back button, my window button and my home button on my Android phone whereas iPhones just have the "all powerful" home button. I have never liked iTunes either. I can't comment on Apple app options as I have never looked but I can pretty much find whatever I need for my Android.

Do I phones have a lot of options when it comes to OS access? I know there are lots of things that I can do with my Android as to how it works; and how I want it to work.

I guess in the end they're both pretty similar.

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

On iOS there are no themes or anything like that. It is one default look. iOS used to truly be the top of the line smartphones, but now, it is just not getting any improvements. It seems like the same phone every time one comes out. That is why I am think about getting the s8 when it comes out. Android it caught up with iOS and its now starting to become better. I used to hate Android for some reason, but now I am thinking about switching to it. Both operating systems are still great though.

Ditto to most. Android personal, work iphone. The keyboard on iphone sucks relative to Android and most that use both will admit the same. Other than that.. Pay less, get the same. :)

IOS is so much more user friendly. I could not stand the Androids I tried. But like everything else, try both and see what you like.  Also IOS is so great if you have other apple devised and ITunes, just all works together much better. I have the 6 right now and I am just  patiently waiting for the Iphone8 which is the 10th anniversary phone so there will be big changes.

iPhone for personal and work.

While I don't like Apple's approach to pricing I've found for the time being that the iPhone is better than Droids I used. The last Droid I had repeatedly crashed, till its operating system finally failed.

The iPhone has been better, so far. The Droid keyboard is better, but Apple's system of spelling words for you helps a lot, especially once you've had the phone for awhile.

Samsungs version of android is the friendliest looking one, in my opinion. Here is a picture of my tablet, it is simple and looks nice.

I will probably get the s8, it will be something new, phone wise. If I hate it I can return it within 15 days of buying it through Verizon.
