Trachycarpus fortunei ‘Nanital’ to me is one of the most beautiful of all the hardy trachycarpus. The leaves are so big and wide they almost look like another palm species. This picture doesn’t do it justus but those that grow this palm will agree it awesome. This is the only one I have it’s a male palm. Also check out the orange pot, thats a canna australis I overwinter and put outside a week ago. The leaves are not really alive but the flower bud is….Thanks for looking.

Nice!:D The one I have is grown in full sun and doesn't have as much droopy leaflets. It out grew, by leaps and bounds, the other fortunei I have, at least at this point and is a female.

Thanks Barrie, this one in summer get full sun from 8am to 3:30pm. The trunk is 12’ tall. Most of my regular trachy’s have stiff leaves and a few don’t. I did once fertilize all my female with this one male. I then gave the seeds away.
