Hi all

Can anyone give me some pointers on germinating these palm seeds? I

What media is used, how deep to plant, how long does it take, how often must it be watered, warm, etc...

I germinate these in plastic takeaway containers in moist spaghnum moss at room temp, ie 20-24C. In about 3 months or less they sprout. Adding too much heat will either prevent germination until the temp drops or just rot the seed.

Carlo, these germinate very easily here in our Mediteranean climate just by putting them in a pot and covering with about 1 inch of soil.  Keep it in a shady cool area and keep it watered.
