Variegated Chamaedora blooming

SHEP

Recommended Posts

Darold  Petty gave me this variegated Chamaedora years ago.  I always kept in pot, and moved around outside, mostly in filtered light.  I fed it, but never transplanted it. I took it inside the house, two weeks ago, and to my surprise, it now has six buds that are ready to bloom.  I guess it likes the warmth in the house.  Does anybody know if it has a name?   Cecile

Pretty sure it's not an oblongata; that specimen is a multi trucker, ohs are singles. Looks more like microspadix.

Nice plant.  Looks like C. Microspadix to me.   Here is my variegated C. micro (pic about 18mo old, has grown a lot since then)

Beautiful palms!  I agree that it looks like Microspadix.  Post more photos of it when it blooms!
