I was lucky enough to get down to South Florida over the holidays and had the opportunity to visit my favorite places! I went to Montgomery Botanical Center, Followed by Fairchild Tropical Gardens, and then Matheson Hammock across the street.

Here are some teasers - Montgomery, Fairchild, and then Matheson:

Those Hemithrinax are impressive! How does one go about touring Montgomery? I've heard that it isn't exactly public, so I haven't gone yet, but it's very high on my list for the next time that I'm in the area.

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere
