Hi there, i obtained about 40 seeds of those species. Could you tell me how to succesfully germinate them and how to improve their growth ?

These are easy but take about a month. Soak for 3-4 days then sew. They won't germinate at room temp and need heat.

Also you should clean the arils (those fuzzy things) before planting. I made community pots (3/4 filled 5g pots) with 50/50 perlite and moistened peat moss. I buried the seeds an inch below the surface and put the pots in a big plastic bag to keep humidity high and prevent drying of the peat. I left it in a warm and bright area, but out of direct sun. It took a month to see the first seedlings, but more germinated over many months. I left them to grow in filtered sunlight. I divided the pot a year or so later.

The biggest issue is what what to do with all the plants! Also, unless you have a greenhouse or live an area with year round warmth, it takes a while to get a good sized plant.

Good luck!

I had better germination with the orange fuzz on. The fuzz seems to act like a sponge and keep the seed moist and then falls off when they germinate.

I just planted mine in one of those seed starting trays with the clear lid that they sell at all home-improvement stores.  They did pretty well until I forgot to water them for a while.

That is after they got so big they push the plastic up.  I planted the survivors in 1 gallon pots now they're getting neglected they need to really go on the ground.
