Looking like »the common« R excelsa; the older Rhapis in the background are definitely R excelsa.

OMG!

I think the photo is not good, it's much smaller than a normal excelsa, which you can see in the background as Palmeir noticed.

If it is the common Rhapis, I paid 1'500 rs, Ahamed, it's expensive then!

What is the diameter of the stem (close-up)? And a close-up of the leaflet tips would also be helpful. It could also be R robusta or R siamensis ??? :indifferent:

Sorry it's night now, and I am leaving tonight, so I can't make photos, but the diameter of the stem is around 6 or 7 mm.
In Colombo they said it's R. subtilis, anyway it's a small lovely plant.

If it was labelled as R subtilis it could be R siamensis (= R subtilis var. siamensis) because the blades are not split to the base.

R. subtilis and R. siamensis are now merged together again to one species R. subtilis (Henderson 2016).
