With Bo-Göran's visit and meeting Ahamed with my friend Kasun, three continents were meeting in Peradeniya; Hawaii (lol), Europe and Asia.

I really appreciate Palmtalk community's kindness and it's nice when we can meet in the real life.

First betweeen Loxococcus plants, next under Lodoicea palms.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

And this has nothing to do with the garden - just your typical scene on a road in Sri Lanka! :mrlooney:

Thanks Philippe for starting this thread, but I really feel it should be in "Discussing Palm Trees".

Actually I splitted the photos in other Palms posts, like: http://www.palmtalk.org/forum/index.php?/topic/52479-is-that-a-monstrous-corypha-utan/

where I believe the palm you think is a Borassus could be (because of the teeth) a Corypha, but I am really not sure and nobody replies...:D

Great photos, thanks for the post.

I had lunch with Bo just prior to his trip and glad to see pics of the garden and host Phillipe.

Glad Ahmed could make it as well.
