Bald Cypress in CT

there is a driveway with a line of pine trees that look like bald cypresses near my house. they loose their needles in the winter and the trunk looks like the classic ones in the swamp (no Spanish moss of course)  I was wondering if these could be Cyprus trees and if i could grow them as well.  I am in zone 6 hebron ct.

I want to plant one here in VA. I was at Water Country USA, and they had one growing underneath a water slide where water drips water and it was massive. it had the above ground knees and everything.
