Starting Over in St Pete

After living in my first house for 15+ years.. it was time to make a move.

As you can see- I decided to rip out everything and start over.

I look forward to seeing how things grow and develop over time.

The new grass and circular driveway are in.

It's time to plant some palm trees......

Either you've been collecting/ accumulating fine specimens for a while, or I want to know where you do your "random palm shopping!!"

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Fun starting with a blank slate, and 3 awesome picks to begin, you're going to have a lot fun, thanks for letting us join in.

Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.

Those are some really exceptional palms there! Already they look so healthy and lush. Plus it looks like you have a sweet yard and house to go along with it. Should be fun to watch them grow over the years. I always loved St. Pete, you made a good choice by moving there. Your off to a phenomenal start, keep it up and your house will soon be palm tree heaven.
