Syagrus/Areca

Dear Palmtalkers, first of all a happy new year to all of you. Got a question. Last June, at the new botanic garden in Tenerife, Spain, I picked me some seeds of a palm that was labeled as Syagrus vestiaria. Now I wonder whether that palm is named wrongly; shouldn't that be Areca vestiaria?

Syagrus seeds will be easily recognized by the 3 cocosoid "pores" on one end of the seed Wim.

Any pictures of the palm?

Zal nog eens ff goed naar de zaden kijken, Kai.

Sorry, no photo of the parent, I just have a few seeds and -up to now- one two-days old seedling.
