Saw this garden in Fullerton in the OC yesterday and photographed it, in the failing light of an auburn evening. (Play my lute and dance across an open field la la la la.)

It's owned by a member of PSSC's old guard. Some of you will know who it is. Been a PSSC member for more than 40 years.

 

Ravenala madagascarensis.

A huge fat cluster of Dypsis lutescens. Something like 30 years old.

 I love the travelers palm and the Royal when I see royal palms  I always worry about where I planted mine next to a brick wall.  Thanks for sharing some pics .
