Syagrus werdermannii is endemic of the municipality of Caetité in Bahia where this seriously threatened with extenction. Photos in habitat. According to the book of Lorenzi , has stem underground, lonely, yet appearance clustering.

mine started germination after 3 days still in water, now after 2 weeks i have 5 sprouts just like the ones in the photo above. very fast to germinate

one of mine is a double germination also!
