Smaller Brahea Armata in Bloom

I noticed this Armata in Alicante, Spain. I found it rather small for blooming.

Is this a regular size for armata to bloom or does it depend on the amount of heat? Alicante is pretty hot in the summer.

Akareon a vey pleasant information. Yes it seems that Brahea armata usually starts blooming at the age of 20, so did my own exemplary notwithstanding the size, which depends quite on the water ir has been receiving all the previous years. The one specimen in Alicante apparently grows in a very dry enviroment.

I have seen similar sized ones flowering here, not as magnificent as these at the San Anton Palace Gardens though...
