But, he's right there with Henry Mancini, Barry White, Herb Alpert, and other instrumentalists.

Ah, Slim Whitman.

Saw him in the early 80s live, open for Johnny Cash.

Everyone kinda laughed. He had that rug-jacket and that perv-looking mustache, but when he sang, they almost forgot about Johnny. (As Johnny reminded them!)

Oh, yes, Barry W did all his own arrangements. And, a number of symphonies, including Love Theme.

Kenny G worked for Barry W for a while.
