Rain by a passing 'cane, in South Carolina

DoomsDave

Recommended Posts

As you may know, Hurricane Joachim didn't make landfall in South Carolina, but instead dumped a "firehose" of rain from out to sea.

If you're there, let us know if you're all right. We suspect communications aren't good right now.

Hope you're okay.

Houses on the water are lovely. Up to a point.

A lot of flood damage in this area. My house is up on a hill and didn't have any damage. Many were not so lucky.

Water line on a house in town...

OUCH!

Looks like even the dead aren't safe!

I remember that awful flood that hit Pennsylvania after Hurricane Agnes in 1972. People's homes all trashed.

Glad you're safe!

Rivers & streams are finally getting back to normal. There are quite a few roads & bridges that have been washed out & will take quite some time to rebuild.
