The Cycad Society announces Cycad Day 2015 at Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday October 24.

In association with our yearly board meeting (also held this year at the same institution on Friday, October 23), the Cycad Society is holding it’s annual event, Cycad Day 2015, at:

Mounts Botanical Garden
531 North End Military Trail
West Palm Beach, Florida 33415

This event will start at 10 AM, and will consist of a series of lectures about cycads (including reports from Cycad 2015 held in Medellin, Colombia in August), a catered lunch, and a plant auction. Details are being worked out now, but this promises to be an excellent event for all lovers of cycads. More details will be posted soon at our website: http://www.cycad.org/ . All proceeds benefit the Cycad Society, a non-profit organization.

Those Cycad Society members interested in attending the board meeting on Friday should contact Craig Nazor at: c.nazor@earthlink.net for more information.
