B. armata from Augusta, GA.  Went through 13F and a horrible ice storm two winters ago.  Good foliage color to me.

Has anyone ever seen armata leaves burn in the winter? At what temp did it finally occur?

no, but I'm guessing in the low teens for duration will do the job.

I wanted to share these images that I captured this afternoon of a local NorCal community center that showcases several palm genera at its entrance. The Brahea armata (?) is in full bloom today. Wish I had room for one this size at my place!

The armata here in Fresno are blooming their hearts out too. It's like spotting fireworks as you drive around town.

Citrus Heights has that heat that armatas love.
