Copernicia baileyana seed

Recommended Posts

I have several lots of FRESH Copernicia baileyana seed available for sale. I am offering packs of 100 seed for $25, plus the shipping, which in the US will run $6. These can fit in a small Priority Mail box. The seed is from a green bailey. I will try to get a decent pic up soon. PM me if you are interested.

I've never actually shipped anything to Brazil, so I don't know what is involved. I'll talk to some growers I know and see what the process is, then let you know if that is something I can do or not.

I want to buy, import seeds is not allowed here, but I always buy seeds, some packs was taken by the government, but I wanna try... My question was just because some dealers don't ship out of USA...

Tks

Sowed these copernica seeds from Tim 14 days ago and almost everything has germinated already! These are very fresh seeds.

I've had good luck germinating C. baileyana. In 10 years you'll have a really nice looking little palm. 3'-4' tall maybe.

I received them today.

Never grew these from seeds before.

Do we need to delid these or just soak before planting?

Thanks again.

After 5 days of soaking,

the outer flesh softens

revealing an inner seed.

I am resoaking again in water

with a teaspoon of fish fertilizer
