Larger Veitchia wanted in Central FL

Hello,

I have a Veitchia arecina (or some one of the common Veitchia species) that I ordered from Hawaii about 4 1/2 years ago. It had grown great, reaching about 8-10 feet to the top of the crown by last summer. My parents relocated last fall so I was forced to transplant it to my new yard in the worst possible time of year. It quickly lost all leaves and has been been just sitting with just the green emerging spear from 6+ months. The trunk and crownshaft are solid, but I am thinking about replacing if no indications of growth are seen in the next couple months.

Does anybody know where to find medium to semi-large size Veitchia X "arecina" (with roughly 2-6 feet of trunk) in Central FL and in particular the Orlando are?. These are as common as royals and Cocos in many areas of S. FL, but I never see them sold here. Does anybody happen to have any for sale in the area?

Sorry for the delayed response. What a generous offer. Thank you so much for offering a palm to me, I just love Veitchia! Where is Wayne's Central FL palm party located? What should I bring along? I think I can handle a shrimp kabob. :mrlooney:
