Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts. I recall a bit of dissent about the species, maybe I've got it mixed up with something else?

Dave, the growth rings look super long; has it always been a fast grower? Mine is developing, but oh so slow from seedling size. Yours is beautiful.

I thought it was a baronii, but it's much faster to gain height, though it takes as long to bloom. THere's a baronii right next to it that's blooming, too.

With the Hives of Girls, hopefully lots of fertile seed this year.

Soon after that picture was taken, a leaf from the Archie tuckeri behind it fell off and took the flower with it.

This spring I edited the Archie, and it's blooming again.
