I added several more species today. I'd have to make a whole new website page just for about ten species. Granted, there's hundreds of species offered there, but the Dypsis are mostly in this Sat and Sun posts. Just scroll down. Takes about 3 seconds.

Thanks, Phil, for the plants, and it was good chatting with you yesterday!

Phil's got some rare stuff there, and he even has a few Ficus dammaropsis in stock - two different kinds no less, with green and orange leaf sheaths!!!

In my dealings with Phil it's best to call or shoot him a email. Unless he's working at the hospital he answers pretty quick.

Glad Phil has a real job as its too much effort to post a link to the palms mentioned..or price them

Sorry Guys. I have been super busy setting up the PSSC July meeting. It'll be at the famed garden of Mardi Darian. So, become a member of the PSSC and get in for free.

Ron asked about pricing. Most of our 15g palms are $175 to $195. These rare ones I bought in are about 25% more. But, I always consider a discount, especially if one buys multiple plants. On these rare Dypsis, I do have a few left, but many have now sold out. Remember, I only got in two or three of each.

To find prices, if you go to our Jungle Music home page, there's an icon that says "Buy Palms" Or, at that same page there are two other links well marked with "palm prices". Remember, we are offering a quarter million plants for sale of almost a thousand species. So, it's a huge database to not only view but also to maintain. When I get in a few plants that I know will sell out quickly, they are not added to that database.

And Scott is correct, it's always best to just shoot me an email or call. I always respond to emails.

One last thing, I'd recommend following the Blog if you have time. When I get cool things in, they are almost always shown there.

Matt,

I too think it's exciting news. The date will be 18 July, a Saturday. Tell all your palm buddies about it.

A formal announcement will follow at this site.

I fear this may be the last time a tour is offered.

The photo below shows an older photo when Mardi, even though a senior citizen, was still a bundle of fire.

For those of you who may have missed this when it was published several years ago - or for those unable to visit - here is a link to a Virtual 3D-360º Tour of Mardy Darian's garden.
Don't forget to explore around the property via the pathways by using the flashing embedded links.

The meeting and tour of Mardi Darian's garden is this coming Saturday, 18th July. I hope to see many of you there. You must be a PSSC member, but if needed can pay and sign up on entry into the garden.

The meeting starts at 11:30 AM. To read more go to the Chapter Announcements/Meetings at this website.

Pictures here were taken at Mardi's garden two to three years ago.
