Recommended Posts

Have one 7-gallon Carpentaria acuminate and 15-20 one-gallon Arenga engleri palms.

Will sell the Carpentaria for $45 and the Arenga engleri for $10 or $8 each for two, or $7 each for three or more. All sales at my place.

Walt, you should plant both. The Carpy may surprise you and do very well under high oak canopy.

Ray, Your are correct. I planted a carpy (one of three I grew from seed Mike Dahme sent me, out of 10 that germinated for me) last spring in a protected area back in the woods, under light tree canopy, but where it still gets adequate sun light, and it wasn't hurt at all (no frost back in my wooded area).

I have another carpy I'm going to plant out soon. The third carpy is the one I want to sell as I don't really need anymore. However, if I don't sell it, it will get planted out later this year.
