Ballerinas in the front garden

Recommended Posts

This morning I was up very early for a Saturday as I had entered the Borzoi in a dog show. Stepping out my front door I was delighted to find that the Brugmansia had finally put on a great display of blooms thanks to the arrival of the autumn rain and that I'm finally on top of the snail population who normally decimate any flush of new growth.

From the photos it looked like the weather was going to be great for being outdoors. Dark clouds rolled in from the west and rained heavily. The rain made the dog show horrible to attend but we had to syay for the whole day since one of our dogs won best of breed. Dispite the rain and cool temperature the Brugmansia welcomed us home with their exotic fragrance the aura filling the entire front garden.
