One of my flame thrower palms is starting to get big even though it is still small.  It's amazing how excited I get over a new leaf.

So excited to see a new leaf again.  Who needs plants with flowers when you get this much color with the leaf.

Hi,

these pictures are driving me crazy :yay: I need this palm. Is this one growing good when being potted and has to stay inside during winter time?

Is it a fast grower? I have to look for seeds.....

I just potted up 102 today. I order 100 seed about a year ago, 102 come, they all come up and now some are on their 4th spear. Love them.

Ten growing happily up here in my garden. I never get tired of them, even if one decides to put out a green leaf which happens occasionally for unexplained reasons. IMG_1580.thumb.JPG.6bee1381b643c68b8063aIMG_1568.thumb.JPG.5d5bd528d177abe4430bfIMG_2049.thumb.JPG.264c320258965498dde8a

Yes, they are naturally variable.

Sometimes you are lucky, not always.

this is the same leaf over about ten days.
