Funny you would ask! I actually replaced all the furnaces and added ac systems for Gavin Gerbert who purchased the home from Nixon. In fact, I took one of Nixons furnaces that I replaced and installed it at one of my apt units in Capo Beach. I found a box full of tape recordings that were stashed under the return air plenum.

Got chased away once in '72 while sneaking in from the northern end to surf Cotton's Point. When I say chased away I mean by Secret Service dudes with guns who looked just like Tommy Lee Jones.
