Palms in Palos Verdes

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, a few weeks ago there was a post regarding Royals in SoCal. I've been meaning to post pics of my neighbors a few doors down who has some beautiful palms, Kentias, Bismarck, Kings, Nikau, and some really beautiful and large Royals. Clearly this guy is an aficionado. There are lots more palm varieties on the other side of the wall but I couldn't get a good pix of them. I think I'm going to knock on his door and have a chat with this dude. :)

These Royals are as good looking any Royal you'd find in Hawai'i, Miami or Panama. Surprisingly beautiful. These palms are about 0.2 miles from the Pacific in the Palos Verdes peninsula. We have clay soil.

Ashton's one of our more famous Palm Society members. He does many of the voice over work for movie previews. "Coming Soon..." :)

Nice view! I always enjoy looking at fat royals. That Jubeaopsis sure is rare, its not every day I see one here on Palmtalk.

Too bad he didn't get there before Gary lost his mind and went chainsaw massacre on the fat Hedycepes!
