another one of the horned Dendrobiums. Usually they are dull colored but this one has a rich blue purple hue

I forgot the scientific name of this one but in the local language it's called "sanggumay"

It's a pendulous species and this one is hanging high on a tree

What a fabulous collection of unusual orchids -- it must be very satisfying to see so many blooms. That first Renanthera looks like a tiny orchid I have in Hawaii, but I'm a complete failure with names.

My San Diego orchids are going off now, which is quite a thrill. I never have expectations, but sometimes I get a pleasant surprise. Nothing unusual, but they thrill me anyway.
