Which palm sale are you going to? Since they're on the same weekend this year.

Going to Mounts tomorrow, closer to home, good selection and cheaper. I love FTG but I would rather pay the extra money on a palm than an entrance fee. As I will not have the time to walk through the garden, just going to pick up some palms.

Lived in Cape Coral, Miami, Orlando and St. Petersburg Florida.

Hmmmm, I just voted and it's 7-0 in favor of the Palm Beach sale, for those that are going to one or another.

Mike.......you, Greg and De-de might want to rethink and come up to Palm Beach first on Saturday. Not only will the selection be greater, but you all can enjoy hearing Paul Craft give his talk, then enjoy the walk through the gardens with him. See you there!

I'll be at Mounts Saturday morning! It looks like it's going to be a little quiet down south. (12-0)

Was heading up to Mounts, but unfortunately have been called into work at noon. Could make Fairchild, just 8 miles away, for the morning but their $25.00 entry fee nix's that. Run by attorneys - not plant people, so sad. :crying:

We did as y'all suggested..went to Mounts this morning. Saw the usual suspects...Randy & Ricky et al.

Sorry to see Dale Holton missing in action...heard his medical issue appeared to be minor.

Picked up a Lepidozamia hopei, Cz. Fuscoviridens, Cz. Latifolia, and a nice Licuala spinosa. Great plants and a good turn out in Palm Beach. Will try to hit up the Miami sale tomorrow but have to work tonight so will see how I feel.

I got caught up at work so I couldn't make it to the sale until lunch time. Seems like I missed a bunch of PT members although there were still plenty of awesome palms.

I can truly say that it was a very good sale. Maybe not what it used to be 10, 15 years ago, but no palm sales are. There was a very good stream of customers that came through on Saturday morning with quite a few PT members in attendance. And the selection of palms couldn't get any better I think. It was very well run by the board members, plenty of great, close up parking and actually you could back your car or truck right up to the sales area to load all of your goodies up. The gardens looked great and well maintained.

Many thanks to the entire board members that helped out with volunteering their time. I think Ryan will post a few of his many pictures that he took in the upcoming days.

I hope SFPS can fine a venue like that. Sounds perfect! I suspect the sales at FTBG are over.
