Honolulu Bound

Hello all,

I recently found out I will be completing my residency in Honolulu.

Any advice for someone new moving there? Still trying to figure out where to live (needs to be in Honolulu, circumstances dictate I can't commute >30 min) and what car I should get (preferably good gas milage but also robust enough that if I stay in HI after residency it could handle an island like Maui, BI, or Kauai). Any other insider tricks?

I have some family over there so it makes it a big easier and luckily I don't have much stuff to move.

Kailua, Oahu HI. Near the beach but dry!

Still have a garden in Zone 9a Inland North Central Florida (Ocala)
