Howdyall:

I'm considering getting an Apple mini, but it appears as though there's no actual Word Perfect program for that. I must use it in my work. Word is NOT an option. (Please don't ~!#@%$#@*&^%#@ ask! :()

Apple itself suggested an app, but has anyone had experience with that?

Kindly advise.

I use to use WordPerfect on my Mac years ago and really liked it so much better than Word so can sympathize. In fact years ago even used Virtual PC to still run it for a while. But that was years ago.

As I understand it there are several ways (applications) to run Windows on your Mac today. That way you can run Word Perfect for the pc. Try doing a search for how do I run Windows on my Mac. Think the popular solutions are Parallels, Apple's Boot Camp, and VMWare Fusion Mac. Wish I could be of more help but haven't had the need to use pc software any more.

Dave- It's actually quite easy...Bootcamp drivers are already built into OSX...so get a copy of windows and it is an easy install. -Peter

It's easier to work with. Codes can be manipulated. Word, well, don't want to say anything libelous.
