Don't buy those on ebay as they are no good. I have been trying to germinate those seeds for the last 18 months with out a single one coming out. They have sat right beside tubs of Pure jubaea in which almost 500 have germinated thusfar. Save yourself the money and headache and just purchase a plant from Patrick.

Thanks for the info - will take a pass on those then.

I do want some seeds however as I can't afford to buy enough palms from Patrik for my wants :)

Hi,

In response to you request for Jubaiea seeds--

Well the add on eBay probably was mine

Texas Cold Hardy (TCH)  says "don't buy seeds on E Bay they are no good."

Well At that time  and currently I am selling seeds ,germinated seeds and seedlings  on eBay

Texas Cold Hardy bought 8,000 to 10,000 of seeds from me, around 2012  2013  I am confident that if he did buy bad seeds on eBay  that he did not purchase them from me .

The last time I heard from him he wanted another 5,000 seeds When I would not sell him any more seeds he was not happy

I think the first picture shows what is going on

I did not respond to this earlier as I recently joined palm talk ,and was not aware of his posts

Additionally, TCH responded to a post from another member in February 2015 referencing my ad on Craig's List on which he stated that I do not accept Pay Pal or ship overseas.  He is wrong in both cases--I do accept Pay Pal and I do ship overseas and world wide.  The exception is that I do not ship to Soviet Block countries as the postal system in unreliable.  If you want to verify that I ship internationally, you can go onto the USPS website and look for Tracking # Lz 460 187 643 US, shipped yesterday  and  bound for Germany.  It is the second lot of 100 germinated seeds that I have shipped to this address.

If anyone  is aware of TCH posting and  trying to discredit me , please let me know

To check on responses from people who have purchased from me

go to eBay,farm & garden, search  germinated wine palm seeds

Then check on  the responses that have been made by people who have purchased from me

Did you read the topic?  This has nothing to do with Jubaiea. He is talking about the hybrid. I've dealt with Joseph many times & he's a stand up guy.

Bruce, the gentleman that posted this ad is looking for F1 Jubaea x Butia seed, not pure Jubaea seed.  There is a big difference.

As for your comment about my Palm Talk post in February 2015- At that time you would only take a check in advance along with a prepaid shipping label for the thousands of seed that I purchased from you.  At that time you still did not take paypal to my knowledge.  I am not a fortune teller and made a truthful statement during that time.

Meanwhile you have refused to sell large quantity of seed to me as you cited a conflict of interest. I am not angry nor have I ever been angry.  You're not the only person with a mature Jubaea Chilensis and I have purchased a few thousand seed from other Palm Talk folks as well as pick up 1000+ in Mission Bay myself.
