Recommended Posts

I need a couple of dead Sabals to carve tikis. If anybody has some close to me, let me know. North Broward or South Palm Beach County.

It is not really a request you would normally find in the regular Freebie section.

You know the name. Look up the number.

So many species,

so little time.

Coconut Creek, Florida

Zone 10b (Zone 11 except for once evey 10 or 20 years)

Last Freeze: 2011,50 Miles North of Fairchilds

Thanks Ron, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for.

Call around to local Land Clearing companies ?

May be different in your area , but around here they knock down Sabals by the hundreds, and

pile them up to burn.

(Then they call the new development " Sabal Forest" or some such .)
