I love this species too and yours looks quite happy!

I didn't get to see a new leaf this trip though.

I also have a couple of the little supposedlyottle form.

These are sweet little palms and, in my opinion, you can't have too many of the smaller Calyptocalyx.

Here are a few photos of C. pachystachys in the garden. I've actually seen mature specimens of these

get to be about 12-14 feet tall, but that would take many years.

These are the mottled form, the new leaf is killer.

Great to meet you to Paul and the other Palmtalkers it was a great day seeing awesome palms . Cindy , yours looks very happy in it's current location . Tim , that mottled form looks great , is it what they called Calyprocalyx sp "Benang Duan "

Cindy, your C. pachystachys has really grown! It looks as though your last pic is a Pinanga.......maybe.

Richie, as far as I know, this one really doesn't have a name other than sp. mottled.
