Arenga Tremula

Well, here it is, alive and well, after being close to death and completely defoliated after a bad frost 6-7 years ago. Its taken a while but its back in good shape and powering on. I must admit Arenga Tremula isn't as cold hardy as my Arenga Microcarpa and Arenga Engleri, but still, it handles light frost reasonable well.

Does anyone else have Arenga Tremula as they dont seem to be all that common in cultivation ?

They're tender here in California.

Maybe I didn't kill a tremula, but something else.

Yours looks awesome!

They look like Arenga engleri but with thinner leaflets. We are growing several here. They can tolerate some cold but not frost so grow better here under some canopy. Below about 28F causes damage.
