Chamaedorea metallica

Really full garden

Recommended Posts

I have been recovering from Chikungunya and it has been several weeks since I have been able to hike around my highland garden.Today I rediscovered my little forest of Chamaedorea metallica.

These are little gems and do really well in deep shade with ferns and calatheas.I thought they were especially photo worthy.

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

Hot, dry summers. Cold, wet winters.
